CHIEF OFFICER

BBWCVS is a vibrant and innovative charity that provides information, advice and support to the local voluntary and community sector.
We are seeking to appoint a new Chief Officer to manage the organisation and to lead the strategic development of BBWCVS, its staff, volunteers and members.
The successful post holder will be responsible for strategy, good governance, fundraising, general and operational management.
You should have experience of working at both a strategic and grass roots level and a track record of effective partnership working, fundraising and income generation. You will be expected to be a high profile and practical advocate for the voluntary and community sector in
Basildon, Billericay & Wickford.
We are looking for someone who is self-starter, has proven leadership skills, and is able to inspire confidence,
co-operation and mutual support. You should be committed to the values and ethos of the voluntary sector.
